Dry Type Cast Resin Transformers are a subtype of dry transformers where the windings are encapsulated in epoxy resin (non-hygroscopic). This design protects against moisture, dust, and corrosive environments, making them ideal for harsh conditions like coastal areas, mines, and chemical plants. They are highly durable, fire-resistant, and efficient, with minimal environmental impact.
